- Wave height formula based on: wind speed, water depth and fetch length. Inspired by Young & Verhagen 1999, modified by Sibren
- Google maps overview of DW runs in the Netherlands
- Wind speed/direction: OpenWeather Maps (refreshed every hour)
- Water depth: Rijkswaterstaat
- Fetch length: based on wind direction distance to shore
- Ideal wind angle & range for each run is based on experience
- Blue arrow is current direction and arrow size is current m/s
- Current: Rijkswaterstaat verwachting for IJmuiden 200 meters offshore
- Minimum time required: 2x driving between start-finish, 30minute rigging, 15kmph avg straight line speed (foiling most of the way).
